Welcome to the Divan Website
Divan
are a five-piece band from Melbourne that formed in 2001. Divan play original tunes and generate a
grungy pop guitar sound overlaid with melodic vocals.
The
band members include Cynth Lim (vocals), Nick Bray (guitar), Marc O’Bryan
(guitar), Chris Thomas (bass) and Paul Chappell (drums). Check out our Mug Shots!
The
band’s zealous songwriters believe that good songs, with particular emphasis on
melody, lyrics and arrangements, are the backbone to any great pop band.
Divan is made up
of ex-members of the now defunct Melbourne band The Beautiful Failures.
